1. Are you a reading room? Can we sit and read the books? Can we bring our own books to read? 

 

We are not a Reading room (designated 'quiet' spaces that one typically finds in libraries). What we mean by this is that we do not have a dedicated space where customers can settle down to read the books (ours or their own), that libraries typically have. But you are welcome to browse and explore any number of books at your leisure.

 

If you are looking for community reading spaces, please ask us and we would be happy to share any information we have.

2. Do you host regular events or reading sessions? Can we conduct our own events at the store?

We do not currently host regular events at the bookshop. Our constraints include space and bandwidth.  Exceptions are few and far between. But if you're looking to host an event around books/reading, please write to us with details and we will review and respond.

3. Do you sell gift vouchers?

​

Yes, we do. We offer vouchers in three denominations (INR 500, 1000, 2500) and the voucher is redeemable in store, anytime within a year of issue. If you can't make it to the store to pick up a physical voucher, we're happy to send you a digital one via email. Just give us a call or email us and we will make it work.

4. I have written and self-published a book. Would you stock my book?

​

We wish you the very best for your book and your writing journey. However, we do not accept unsolicited requests to stock self-published books.

5. Do you sell and/or buy used books?

 

We  do not sell or buy used books. We know what a treasure trove used bookshops can be. There are several second hand bookshops in the city that you could sell/donate to, or buy used books from, and we're happy to share any information on them that we have.

6. Can I place an order with you for specific books?

​

We do not take on individual orders. Being a curated bookshop, our hope is that you will find something of interest in what we have chosen to keep on our shelves. If the book you want is already part of our curated list, you can be sure that we will stock/restock this over time. Drop us an email and we will let you know when it's back in stock.

7. Do you ship books to other cities? 

​

We do not currently ship to other cities.

8. Do you deliver within Hyderabad?

​

We do not deliver, but we are more than happy to hand the book/s over to any messenger or delivery service that you arrange, in case you are unable to visit the store. Please call/email us and we will make this work.
