1. Are you a reading room? Can we just sit and read the books? Can we bring our own books to read? Do you lend books?

 

We are not a Reading room. These are  designated 'quiet' spaces that one typically finds in libraries, and alas, we are not a library. We do not lend books and you can't bring your own books to read.

 

If you are looking for community reading spaces, please ask us and we would be happy to share any information we have.

3. Do you sell gift vouchers?

​

Yes, we do! We offer vouchers in three denominations (INR 500, 1000, 2500) and the voucher is redeemable in store, anytime within a year of issue. If you can't make it to the store to pick up a physical voucher, we're happy to send you a digital one via email. Just give us a call or email us and we will make it work.

3. I have written and self-published a book. Would you stock my book?

​

We do not stock self-published books. The only exceptions we make are for books that would, in our opinion, be of local interest (books on the city's history/art/architecture, or work by local artists that we actively seek out.

4. Do you sell and/or buy used books?

 

We  do not sell or buy used books. We know what a treasure trove used bookshops can be. There are several second hand bookshops in the city that you could sell/donate to, or buy used books from, we're happy to share any information on them that we have.

5. Can I place an order with you for specific books?

​

We lack the bandwidth to take on specific orders. Believe us when we say this - most books are hard to procure. Unless you are a global behemoth, there is no 'next day delivery'. Being a curated bookshop, our hope is that you will find something of interest in what we have already chosen to keep on our shelves. If the book you want is already part of our list, then you can be sure that we will stock/restock this over time. Drop us an email and we will let you know when it's back in stock.

6. I do not live in Hyderabad. Can you ship a book to me? 

​

Unfortunately, we do not currently ship to other cities.

7. Do you deliver within Hyderabad?

​

We do not deliver, but we are more than happy to hand the book/s over to any messenger or delivery service that you arrange, in case you are unable to visit the store. Please call/email us and we will make this work.
