Welcome to Luna
We are an independent bookstore in the city of Hyderabad.
We believe that that our cities and neighbourhoods need more independent bookstores run by passionate booksellers (with slightly idiosyncratic reading tastes). We want readers to have consistent access to a wide range of good books. Not just the "best sellers", but the best books.
In this age of one-click shopping and same day delivery, we realize that you may not need us to buy a book. But a good bookstore is so much more than this. A place to slow down for a while, to wander among the shelves, to give yourself the time and the opportunity to discover something utterly new to you.
At Luna, we value our independence, and it begins with what we choose to put on our shelves. We are mindful of ensuring diversity - in vintage, genre, subject matter, and authorship. But the books also reflect, to some extent, our own reading personalities and the things we are curious about. It's like building an enormous, never-to-be-finished TBR, and we never tire of it. While we enjoy and stock new releases selectively, our larger goal is to find books that will endure, books that we think readers will pick up, not just this week or the next, but for months and years to come. We love discovering underrated books or authors that deserve to be read more widely.
We have five rooms packed with books across genres. We sell a wide range of fiction and non-fiction, as well as books for children, aged 4 and above,.
The experience of physically browsing in a bookstore is magic that cannot be replicated online, for us at any rate. We therefore choose to be an offline only bookstore. So, come visit!

Key Store Policies
1. No food and beverages allowed inside the store.
2. Pets not allowed inside the store.
3. Books once purchased cannot be returned (exchange possible at our discretion).
4. Our rooms on the first floor are accessible via a staircase; we do not have an elevator.
5. We do not accept unsolicited requests to stock self-published work.
