We are currently looking to recruit an Associate to join our day-to-day operations at the bookstore. 

​

The Store Associate at Luna will be responsible for the following:

 

  • Managing the billing and checkout process for customers in an efficient and courteous manner. 

  • Shelf management – shelving new books, replenishing copies, managing displays, checking for mis-shelved books.

  • Assisting the store manager in store admin and operations – purchase orders, inward processing, monthly accounting, reports and other documentation.

  • Executive assistant to the curator.

 

Please note:

 

  • This is not a Sales position. While there will be customer interaction, it will be limited to billing and providing assistance (when asked). 

  • Educational qualification: Must be at least a Graduate. 

  • Prior work experience: At least 3 years. Experience in retail is not a pre-requisite. We would prefer candidates with prior experience in a corporate environment, either in an admin role or in operations.

  • The candidate must be friendly and courteous; should be able to communicate clearly in English (spoken and written) and must be proficient in MS Excel and Word. 

  • This is a full-time position in Hyderabad. Working hours will be 10.30am-6pm Tue-Fri and 10.30am-7pm on Sat-Sun. Mondays will be the weekly off.

  • Salary of INR 35k per month. Negotiable for the right candidate with relevant experience.
